“When it was first suggested we consider using Principal Auctioneer, I was hesitant, believing an auctioneer was way out of our league. We are just an average middle class public school. But in talking with Chad I was convinced that he could help us take our dinner and auction event to the next level. We hadn’t met our fundraising goal the year before, so I knew we had to do something different. His consultation leading up to the event was extremely helpful as he made us look at everything differently. We had never even considered a Fund-A-Need, and again I was hesitant about how our crowd would respond. After hearing about the incredible results Gary produced for another local non-profit organization, I contacted him and asked if he would serve as auctioneer for an upcoming AnimalSave fundraising event. From the moment he said yes, he was on it. From regular conference calls with our fundraising team where he guided us on best practices, to his energetic and entertaining performance the evening of the event, he was a first-class professional. As a result of his guidance and his ability to energize the crowd, proceeds from A Furry, Furry Night more than doubled. I immediately scheduled him for the 2019 event and look forward to working with him again.

My husband says the same thing – why bother to ever do an in person auction again? Just do it this way, and then host a dinner for community building with the price of the ticket representative of their share to cover the event. We will have to try it out sometime…

I just wanted to send you a HUGE congratulations for a job well done on Sunday night! You absolutely knocked it out of the park! You completely defied my expectations for what the online experience would look like. Chad, you are a freaking rockstar for essentially playing to an empty room and keeping your energy so high. It was strangely even more intimate than being in a large room together even though it was just me in my kitchen! I think you should even think about doing it again like this next year to be followed by an adults-only party for everyone. Is that crazy?!
Thanks for making NSA such a priority through this crazy time. You all are really amazing!!

Amidst school closure notifications, stock market lows, and quarantine precautions, Chad went online and did what he does best, fought for our school, our kids, our parents, and our teachers. With a “virtual full house”, Chad led an auction like never before. He energized the community, he adjusted to the latency issues with ease, and he brought in more funding than last year!
